The effect of seasonal materials enriched with augmented reality on childrens language and concept development in preschool peri̇od

In this study the aim is to determine the effect of enriched seasons materials with augmented reality on childrens language and concept development in preschool period.In the scope of the research in quantitative test models, experimental design with pretest test-final test control group was used. The working sample of the research is compased of 68 children, including on experimental group (n=34) and a control group (n=34), who were educated four different branches in Necati Taner Yüksel kindergarden in Kırşehir during the 2017–2018 academic year. In this research Seasonal Concepts Perception Test was used as a data collection. After the result of SPSS 22.00 package analysis with abtained data the reliability of Cronbach's Alpha coefficent is determined as 0.87. Conseguently a test consistiny of ten questions and four part has been developed. In order to examine the differences between the pre-test and final test results of experiment and control group children independent sample t-test is used, then to examine the difference of pre-test and final test results of experiment and control group children among the themselves paired sample t-test is used, as well. İt is accepted as p <,05 for the significance level of differance. According to the findings obtained from the study, the differences between the experimental group and the control group's Seasonal Concepts Perception Test scores showed a significant difference in favor of the experimental group. It was observed that the experimental group was effective on the language and concept development in the findings optained from the application of seasonally enriched seasonal materials.
