Abstract (EN)
In faulty working conditions, precise analysis of an induction motor is a complex problem. In this study, thanks to numeric methods and a software, which are committed to these methods, indications of rotor failures in induction machines are investigated. Initially, the common failures are precisely simulated and by means of the method of current monitoring. Then, the type of failure is compared to the common types of failures in case of encountering more different types of failures. Finally, using the gathered information, a model of basic finite elements is developed, shaped in a laboratory environment and its resemblance to failures such as speed fluctuation or rotor irregularity is investigated. Thanks to the experimental set, which is developed to monitor the failures in a laboratory environment and to record in the failures occurred in the rotor, a sharper impression is gained concerning whether the simulations made are veridical or not. Regarding the experiments made, the performance of induction motor in the case of various broken rotor bars is monitored and thus the opportunity of comparing it to the rates that are taken in healthy working conditions is seized. Finally, it was intended to model the changes that may occur in an induction motor at some point in rotor failures, which may happen in industry. Keywords: Induction Motor, Broken Rotor Bar, Finite Element Method, Experimental Set.
