Double differential cross section measurements of acetylene molecule

Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, experimental double differential cross sections (DDCSs) of acetylene (C2H2) molecule are presented. The angle dependent measurements are taken at different ejected electron energies. Experimental data is taken in e-COL Laboratory using electron spectrometer that is used for electron collision experiments. Electron spectrometer is used for collision experiments and in this type experiments a determined electron gun is collided by a target gas and the electrons occurred from collision event is detected by their angles and energies. DDCS measurements are taken by energy and angle dependence of one of the outgoing electrons after ionization event. DDCS measurements are taken at 50-350 eV incident electron energies and 30o-130o angular distribution of one of the outgoing electrons. A wide energy range of DDCS for acetylene molecule is taken for the first time. The experimental data is planned to use in theoretical analysis by collaboration with theoreticians that work on acetylene molecule.
