Abstract (EN)

Intheimprovement of theexistingroad, theremoval of theraisedcoating as a wastecreates a number of problems. Forthisreason, thisstudywasconductedtoinvestigatethe re-use of theasphaltlayerthatwasexcavatedfromtheroadduringtherenewal of thewearcourse. In this study, bitumensampleswerepreparedbymixingthebitumenwithnewbitumen in variousratiosfromtheasphaltpavementsrecoveredfromtheroad. Thesesamples penetration, softeningpoint, RTFOT, PAV DSR andBBR test wasconductedandtheresultswerecompared. Accordingtotheresults of the test, the VIATOP plus RCaccordingtothe test results .Mixturespreparedbymixingnewaggregateandbitumen RAP material in certainproportionshavebeensubjectedtothetestsrequired in thespecificationandtheresults of theexperimentweredetermined of suitability of accordingtothespecificationsandtheresultswerecompared. ( New aggregateandbitumen in specificproportionstothe RAP materialspecificationswithstirringandsubjectedtodesired test requirement wascompliance test condition of the test results werealsoevaluated.) Eachmixture wasallows specification bythe terms of parametersand Marshall ITS rate but also a result of therutting test mixture excluding 0% RAP RAP-material mixturesweresupplyspecificationcriteria. Inspite of this, it is seenthatthemixtureswith RAP materialsareveryclosetothespecification limit. However, with a number of importantchangesto be made, it wasconcludedthattherays of RAP material can be used in theabrasionlayer of Rap materialbyimprovingthewheeltraceperformance.
