Özet (EN)

My work named "Aşık Kamandar Efendiyev Life-Art-Works" was accepted as a master's thesis by Manisa Celal Bayar University Social Sciences Institute in 2004.This work, which is a biographical work, is about Aşık Kamandar Efendiyev, one of the powerful figures of the Borchali minstrel tradition, who lived and died in the Kepenekçi village of the Georgian city of Marneuli -Azerbaijan Turkish and Borcali-.During the preparation process, I went to the city of Marneuli in Tbilisi to compile about Aşık Kamandar.Georgia State University faculty member Prof. Dr. Through Valeh Hajiyev, I met Mirze Memmedoğlu, the Head of the Borcalı Section of the Azerbaijan Lovers' Union. Mirze Memmedoğlu took me to Aşık Kamandar's village, Kepenekçi. In Kepenekçi, I had the opportunity to talk to the sister of the lover's family, Sultan Omarova, his daughter-in-law Keklik Efendiyev, and his grandchildren Fahri and Hezangül about the lover.I visited some of the Borcali villages, where Azerbaijani Turks live, and gathered information from the minstrels living in the villages both about the Borchali minstrel tradition and about Aşık Kamandar. I talked to Aşık Ziyeddin Keşeli, one of the lovers of Keşeli village, who stated that one of his masters is Aşık Kamandar.I went to Borcali's Karacalar village and talked to Aşık Zindofil Eliyev, one of her apprentices, and heard about Aşık Kamandar's relationship with her apprentices.By entering the archives of many other newspapers and magazines published in Georgia, I found the articles published about love.I met many poets living in the region and had the opportunity to listen to Aşık Kamandar from them.During this compilation process, which lasted about two weeks, I returned with a considerable amount of printed, visual and audio recordings about Aşık Kamandar, all written in Cyrillic alphabet, and completed my work in about six months. At the time I finished my study, there was no academic study on the field in Turkey yet. In order to shed some light on the academicians who have been working and making efforts in this field, to guide them to conduct different studies on the Borcali region and the Turkish minstrel tradition formed in the region, and to experience the pleasure that a printed work will feel to its owner, I spent an additional year of effort. I adapted my thesis into book format and sent it to one of our official institutions with a request for publication. The work is deemed worthy of publication by the institution; however, I was informed in an official letter that it could not be published due to lack of funds.I would like your institution to publish this work, which I wrote with the desire of our contribution to the Turkish culture, which is almost an ocean.
