Aşkî Hüseyin Efendi Dîvânı (Edition-critical, text review)

Aşkî Hüseyin Efendi is a Cretan and sufi poet who lived between the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century and his father's name was İbrahim Ethem. At the beginning of the Divan, "Hazâ Dîvânü'l Aşkîyyü'l- Qadîyyü'l-Girîdî el-me'zûn min co-Sheikh Ibrahim Hanîfü'l Qadîr-i İstanbûlî kuddise sirrehû…" the poet's words belong to the Qadari tariqa and it is known that his teacher belonged to the Qadari order. . Aşkî used the pseudonyms Derviş Aşkî, Hüseynî, in his poems. He wrote poems in Divan without paying attention to meter and rhyme. Due to rhyme imperfections, some problems were encountered while translating poems and finding measurements. We can understand that the poet is a tekke-sufi poet, his belief in wahdat, the relationship between the cult, the disciple and the master, and his love for the prophet and the people of the Prophet. Sufi elements he used in poems are proof of this. The study consists of the transcription of Latin Divan of Aşk Aşkit Hüseyin Efendi "into the Latin alphabet and examination of the transferred poems, introduction, conclusion, bibliography and index sections. The chapters in which the investigations take place, the legendary figures, verses, hadiths, prophets, companions, the minstrel motif and its features in the divan poetry, the beloved motif and its features, some animals used to benefit from the features of the poems, the language features and idioms of some words are mentioned.
