Abstract (EN)

Aşkî Mustafa Efendi's work called "Ta'tirü Ercâi'd-Devleti'l-Mecîdiyye bi-Tîbi Ahbâri Beledi Hayri'l-Beriyye", which we are working on, consists of three chapters in total. The first two chapters are about the history of Medina and the last chapter is about the Ottoman history. Besides its historical value, the work is also very important for Turkish literature as it includes many poetry. In this study, we focused more on the poems included in the work and completed the study in three main titles. The first part of the study has been dedicated to our poet Aşki Mustafa Efendi and many themes such as his life, literary personality, and pieces have been mentioned. Some of the stories from Aşki Mustafa Efendi's life that have not been revealed by now have also been narrated here. In the second part, the manuscript has been examined in overall. Several points such as what the name means, the date of its spelling, the reason for its spelling have been touched on. Besides that, various tables have been prepared about the poems and poets in the work. The third and final part consists of the poems contained in the work. If the author of the transcribed poems is known, information was given about them, if not, they were evaluated under the title of "Anonymous Witnesses". In addition, the context of the work was tried to be explained by referring to which subject the poems were conveyed. Arabic and Persian poems were transferred with their own alphabets, and the method in "Turkish Witnesses" was followed exactly.
