Education in Age of Happiness

Education is a phenomenon that has been needed since human existence and that has changed from form to form with different applications in every period. It can be said that education has a history as much as human history. Until this time, enough definition has been made to be a book about what education is. The common denominator is that education exists to make a positive contribution to the individual. In the past, education and training were not given much importance, today this awareness has developed and education has taken its most important place in human life. As a result of this, different applications and methods were used and the most effective methods were tried to be found in education. But unfortunately, despite the abundance of possibilities, the desired effective results cannot be obtained. The question came to mind whether there was a period when education was considered so important and practices took shape accordingly in a time when education was so important and the need to look back on past eras has been felt. Considering the previous periods, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) emerged with the most effective results in a short time. He is known as the dark age in which he was in, and everybody played a part in his mentioning it like that. In this environment, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) gave great importance to education, science and brought to light a society in the dark with his practices and ways. Since education has a shaping effect on a person's whole life, it is very important that it is applied correctly by reliable people. In the thesis, the characteristics of reliable people and their correct applications were briefly mentioned, a reliable person and effective results with the right practices Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) followed in relation to education, the methods he applied and his whole life were examined in detail. During his time in Mecca and Medina, the activities he carried out in the name of education, the path he followed, were evaluated on the interests of women, youth, adults, children, family, society and individuals, and their educational behaviors.
