Atatürk's words and practices about religiont

The concept of religion, which has been one of the most important institutions of societies from the past to the present, has been an important factor in many aspects of Mustafa Kemal Pasha's life. Mustafa Kemal Pasha defended that religion was an undeniable reality, made efforts to raise the awareness of the Turkish people by purifying them from superstitions on religion, and pioneered the necessary religious reforms in order to ensure that the true religion was learned and put into practice instead of superstitions. In this study, Mustafa Kemal Pasha's words and practices regarding religion were investigated. It was seen that the religious reforms he pioneered were tried to be carried out in order to raise the awareness of the society without harming the essence of religion, and that the understanding of secularism was adopted in the Republic of Turkey and a secular state system was adopted.
