Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effect of nano graphene oxide (nGO) with a thickness of 3 nm on reactive powder concrete (RPC) and the use of waste glass powder as aggregate in RPC, incorporating nGO have been examined. This study consists of two parts. In the first part of the study, the development of RPC has been investigated by adding nano graphene oxide to the structure of traditional RPC composite matrix at varying rates such as 0.035%, 0.07%, 0.14%, 0.21%, 0.35% and 0,70% by weight. By keeping other parameters constant, compressive and flexural strength, capillary water absorption, water absorption, ultrasound pulse velocity, rapid chloride ion permeability and abrasion tests were carried out on the samples. The water/binder ratio was kept constant at 0.16 throughout the process. A pre-compression of 50 MPa and 2 days of 90±5°C drying oven curing have been applied to the prepared samples. It indicated that concrete reinforced with 0.14% graphene oxide by weight of cement in RPC had a 24% increase in compressive strength, a 103% increase in flexural strength and an 80% decrease in water permeability, as compared to traditional reactive powder concrete. With the use of only 0.14% of nGO with a large surface area in traditional RPC, it was found to have a significant effect on the mechanical properties of concrete, especially in improving bending strength. Using 0.14% nGO in RPC, a mixture of RPCG0.14, which gave optimal results in its mixture, was taken as a reference sample and reducing the quartz sand (QS) in its aggregate structure, waste glass powder (WGP) was used instead gradually, at the rates of 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% by weight of quartz sand. With the use of 30% WGP in the experiments performed, it was found that there was an 8% increase in compressive strength, a 17% increase in flexural strength and a 9% decrease in water permeability. It has been observed that wGP can be used in RPB matrix, and with the use of 30% WGP, an environmentally friendly and more economical material can be manufactured without losing its strength and durability properties. Key Words: Reactive powder concrete, nano - graphene oxide, quartz sand, waste glass powder
