Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, it is aimed to both recover the aluminum contained in the packaging and create a more effective waste management system by pyrolyzing waste drug blister packages, which are very difficult to recycle and recover due to their complex and composite-like structure, together with an agricultural waste (sugar beet pulp). In line with this goal, in the first stage of the thesis; sugar beet pulp and waste medicine blister packages were first pyrolyzed separately at 400, 450 and 500°C at a heating rate of 10°C/min, and then co-pyrolysis was applied at the same heating rate and temperatures and product yields were calculated. In the second stage of the thesis, elemental analysis, XRD analysis and chlorine analyzes were performed for the characterization of solid products obtained at 400°c, where the maximum solid product yield was obtained, and elemental analysis, FT-IR, H-NMR and chlorine analyzes were performed for the characterization of liquid products. In the third stage of the thesis, composite materials were produced by extrusion method using solid products obtained in pyrolysis and copyrolysis processes and low density polyethylene, which is frequently used in our daily life and encountered as waste, and the characterization of the produced composite materials was carried out.
