Usage of waste materials in art works

ABSTRACT This study is done with the aim of converting the people waste, litter or used material into an art work. The first section analyses the usage of waste materials in the art works under the effect of social, economical, cultural and political developments changing in time. Second, the aim and techniques of usage of waste and litter as materials for artwork is questioned. In this context, sampling method is chosen for the art movements from 1910 to current day, the artists and art related to these movements. The final section, in parallel to selected topic, touches to preparation and development stages of created art work.
