Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, it is aimed to contribute to the national economy and to produce a different rigid road construction material with a new study by investigating the usability of Mardin stone dust in concrete road construction. For this purpose, Mardin province was visited and Mardin stone production sites (Mardin Türkmen Deresi and Kızıltepe Gurs sites) were visited and Mardin stone aggregate and Mardin stone dust of various grain sizes were obtained as test materials. Silica fume, super plasticizer and steel fiber were obtained from the relevant companies and experimental studies were carried out in Siirt University Faculty of Engineering Civil Engineering Laboratory. In this context, 4 types of concrete were produced: Fiberless Mardin Stone Powder Concrete (MPC), Fibrous Mardin Stone Powder Concrete (MLPC), Fiberless Reference Mardin Stone Concrete (RFC) and Fibrous Reference Mardin Stone Concrete (RFLC). Three different types of curing were applied to the produced specimens. After curing, the specimens were subjected to compression, flexural and freeze-thaw tests. As a result of the experimental studies, it was seen that the concretes using waste Mardin stone powder gave better results than the concretes using reference Mardin stone aggregate.
