Abstract (EN)
Mayolika decors, first as a 15th Century North African countries also brought to Spain by ship and from there spread to Italy and to many countries. The name of the Spanish island of Majorca, near the mayolika also vary according to several countries. Previously, in order to imitate porcelain, ceramic surface is red in color, opaque white glaze with the sırlanıp after biscuit firing, were made on the patterns of different dyes. Later, different colored mud began to apply the method mayolika decor.In this study, the province of Nevsehir, is one of the first settlement of prehistoric pottery in the town of Avanos potter's clay forms, with white opaque glaze, mayolika decor on the raw glaze at 1050°C by following the cooking take place.
