ABSTRACT FLORA OF AVDAL VILLAGE (MANİSA) SARI Dilek Msc. in Biology Supervisor: Ass. Prof. Dr. Levent ŞIK 2004, July This research was made in 2002 to 2004 in order to find out flora of Avdal Village (Manisa) located in West Anatolian. During the floristic studies, 448 vasculer plant taxa belonging to 70 families were determined respectively. The distribution of these taxa in phytogeographic regions are as follows: %31,02 Mediterranean, % 3,35 Euro-Siberian and % 0,89 Irano-Turanian. The number of endemic species consist of is %2,23 of the total flora. The families, sequentially, in the having the largest taxa are Fabaceae %15,18 (68 species), Asteraceae %11,6 (52 species), Gramineae %7,81 (35 species), Brassicaceae %5,58 (25 species), Labiateae %5,58 (25 species), Apiaceae %4,68 (21 species), Caryophyllaceae %4,01 (18, species), Rosaceae %2,90 (13 species), Boraginaceae %2,68 (12 species) and Liliaceae %2,45 (1 1 species). However the genera within the highest number of species are Trifolium (21 species), V7c/a (8 species), Bromus (6 species), Ranunculus (6 species), Geranium (6 species), Valerianella (6 species), Rumex (5 species), Lathyrus (5 species), Medicago (5 species) and Centaurea (5 species).
