Abstract (EN)
In light of the active globalization processes stemming from international trade relations and economic integration, this study is motivated to reveal the effects of economic integration on Kazakhstan's foreign trade. The first chapter examines the definition and importance of economic integration. Various models of economic integration and examples of economic unions worldwide are elucidated. Additionally, a detailed review is conducted on the establishment process and economic-commercial strategies of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The second chapter delves into the history and process of Kazakhstan's membership in the EEU. By scrutinizing Kazakhstan's macroeconomic indicators, the chapter highlights the effects of the EEU on Kazakhstan's economy. This section lays a significant foundation for understanding the impact of the EEU on Kazakhstan's foreign trade. The third chapter elucidates the methodology of the study. Research method design, content analysis techniques, and data collection tools are thoroughly examined. Furthermore, the chapter explains how the analysis and comparison of indicators between 2016 and 2024 are conducted. This thesis aims to provide an in-depth examination of the interactions between international trade relations and economic integration. Understanding and evaluating the effects of Kazakhstan's integration into the EEU on its foreign trade is the primary objective of this study. The research findings may serve as a basis for comprehending the commercial and economic outcomes of Kazakhstan's integration into the EEU and for informing future policy decisions.
