Abstract (EN)
The Economic Impacts of the European Union?s 2004 Enlargement on SMEs is thesubject of this thesis. The European Union implemented the biggest and compulsiveenlargement in its history.European Union?s aim is to prevent giving rise to instability by providing the unityof the continent and ensuring the transfer of CEECs to free market economy anddemocracy.All of the countries realised the importance of SMEs and their importance isincreasing day by day. SMEs have positive effects both socially and economically to aeconomy by the creating employment opportunities, regional and local development.While studying the economic impact of enlargement, the impact on SMEs should bestudied.Finally, the effects of SMEs to an economy is an undeniable fact. The economicimpacts of the 2004 Enlargement on SMEs will be studied and analysed through out thethesis.
