The research of understanding time management for the students studying in European Union countries and Turkey in terms of different variables

The aim of this study is analysing the understanding of time management for the students who study in Turkey and in European Union countries. In this research, a total of 700 students, consisting; 350 students from Dumlupınar University School of Physical Education and Sport; 175 students from Academy of Physical Education in Poznan,Poland; 175 students from School of Cultural Technology and Communication in Aegean University in Mytilene, Greece, have participated. As data gathering technique , 'Time Management Scale' which has been developed by Britton and Tesser (1991) , validity and the reliability of the adaptation of it to Turkey was proved by Koçak and Alay (2002), was used. The collected data was transfered to monitor using SPSS 20.0 program and this program was used for the analysis of the data and for the comparement of the valiables. As result of the research, statisticly significant differences on understanding of time management in the sub scales of ?Time Attitudes? and ?Time Wasters? for the students who are studying in a University in Turkey and the students who are studying in a University in European Union countries, have been found.
