Ballast production modals and quality parameters in the Europen Union process

Ballast is a material used in many areas; especially in construction sector. As a result of migration fom rural areas to the cities in the past 20 years , developement of building sector as a result of the migration, and the increase in the conrstuction of the roads and because of many similar reasons, the demand for ballast has rapidly increased in Turkey. Univesities, chambers of professions and the organisations related of balast. Industry have carried out many studies in order to imrpove and distribute the required knowledge for the sector and standardize the material production tecniques and its usage as well as improving educational quality,of sectoral work force.In this study, contemporary quaries pits and service areas were examined the standards and quality aproach of the sector was evaluated. Quality Standards , evironmental regulations, laws about the authorization of ballast ,safety of work and the recent improvements in the methods of production were evaluated according to EU legislations. The situation of the sector was enlightened by taking the future of the sector into account.Key words: Process of EU and ballast, Aggrega, Quality
