Abstract (EN)

The world witnessed many political, cultural, and social transformations, especially after the Cold War. This was accompanied by a change in the concepts circulating and the issues raised on the international stage. Cases that include the phenomenon of immigration, especially asylum, and that have begun to take their place in analyses and priorities have emerged. The social changes have gained a new dimension in international relations and especially in the concept of Western countries. Therefore, migration has occupied the concerns of the international public opinion as one of the emerging problems with security, economic, social, legal, and political repercussions. These concepts have become a focus of study for researchers and those working in the political field. These issues are the main topic in international discussions. Particularly, when people leave the poor regions that have been torn apart by civil wars or military interventions in recent years and migrate to stable countries to ensure stability and security. That is what happened recently in the war in Syria, then in the war between Russia and Ukraine. In this study, firstly, the conceptual analysis of migration will be discussed. Then, the important role of Turkey in the migration context, in addition the various perspectives of the European Union, also the comparison of migration situations with Syria and Ukraine will be discussed.
