Abstract (EN)
In thıs study, freedom of artistic expression is examined under the freedom of expression set forth in the Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights. In this context, primarily, meaning of art, definitions in the area of law and art that made for art is included and argumantations that support the artistic expression is revealed. Thereafter scope of artistic expression and obligations of the state is examined in regard of Article 10. Ultimately protection standarts of artistic expression and alteration of these standarts is propounded by examining judgements and decisions of European Court of Human Rights and former European Commission of Human Rights.
