Abstract (EN)
The Turks who immigrated to the different countries of Europe settled down permenantly in the regions they went. Families were heavily effected through the migrations. With no doubt, cultural values that families have are very important in the socialization of individuals. Being aware of cultural differences that Turkish people have, and providing their needs will easily make them integrate into the society they live in.The main goal of this thesiss is that family structures of Turkish people and the problems of their integrations into the society in Europe. The case of Turkish people living in Austuria has been taken as an example. And the following issues are discussed in the research such as; Socio-demographic profile, family shapes, family relations, neighborhood relations, problems of integration, education, language and foreign enmity.Questionnaire and interview methods have been used in the field research which is done on the selected sample concerning the topic. After the collecting datum; family shapes, level of family relations, neighborhood relations, integration problems, language barrier and foreign enmity were mixed up with the other variables considerable results were obtained. The results have also been interpreted with the help of interviews.Key words: Emigrants, Family, Culture, Integration, Language, Foreign enmity.
