Özet (EN)

Although a hundred years have passed since the death of Enver Pasha, his military and political activities in his 41-year life have caused him to be the most discussed name today. Especially at the beginning of the twentieth century, it caused significant changes in the Ottoman Empire and world politics. For this reason, it would not be wrong to say that Enver Pasha is a name mentioned in the foreign press as well as the Turkish press. There are hundreds of documents, books and many works about Enver Pasha compiled from national and international sources. However, the number of studies on Enver Pasha, whom we know as the Minister of War and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the 1st World War, on the Australian press is quite insufficient. In this thesis, we aimed to analyze the news of Enver Pasha, which was reflected in the Australian press, which was one of the countries that participated in the war by sending soldiers to Anatolia in the 1st World War, and to reveal his place in the Australian press. Our research topic covers the process starting with Enver Pasha's 2nd Constitutional Monarchy in 1908 and reaching his martyrdom in 1922 in Central Asia. The sources we used in our research are some Australian newspapers published in that period.
