Folk medicine around and (Center)of Aydın

This study includes generally to applications of Aydın Folk Medicine that applied and appling if folk medicine is in private sector. The study field includes to center streets, districts and district villages of Aydın that selected according to snowball method.The study consists of five sections. First section is prologue. In this section, work area, purpose, method, extent and limitations are included. Then first section of the study, the consept of folk medicine and its general characteristics, religious reasons, traditional, historical of applications folk medicine; history of folk medicine among Turks, the studies about the folk medicine in Turkey are located. Then diseases in Aydın folk medicine which second section of the study and section their treatments are located. In this section, diseases are classified. From literature and oral sources about each disease, which is classified, introductory informations are gived, samples of treatment about disase are gived, precondition which treatment methods of applications are indicated last part of the disease also.,The methods in folk medicine are described at third section of the study. The treatment centers are described in the fourth section of study. In the fifth section that last section of study treatment materials and products described.
