The Analysis of Aydınlı Visâlî's Dîvân

Aydınlı Visâlî, who lived at the end of the XVth century, is one of the poets of the foundation period of Classical Turkish Literature. Along with Edirneli Nazmî and Tatavlalı Mahremî, he has been shown as one of the three most important representatives of the Türkî-i Basît (Simplification of Turkish) movement whish has been a matter of discussion since the birth of it. After dealing with the poet's all works, it is possible to state that not all of them can be regarded within the concept of the Türkî- i Basît (Simplification of Turkish), and he could not sustain the features of the same saying style in them. The aim of this article is to reveal the literary personality and worldview of Visâlî by analyzing his only work, Divan. In this article, Aydınlı Visâlî's Dîvân is divided into five sections under the headings of 'religion, mysticism, society, human and nature', and the doors to the poet's understanding of poetry are tried to be opened by examining the related concepts in a detailed manner for each section
