Abstract (EN)

People need to correct different factors in the environment in which they are located in order to make the areas where they live more convenient and comfortably. Inaccuracies on lighting in environments causes fatigue in contacts and plays effective role on mental health. If the noise is not taken under control, it increases stress on human and reduce student's learning performance in educational structures. Therefore, the interiors should be ventilated at certain intervals. Carbon dioxide, on the other hand, causes headache, drowsiness and concentration disorder in humans. In this study, the effects of lighting, noise and carbon dioxide on the learning of students studying in classrooms and amps in higher education institutions were investigated. This thesis study was carried out in the classroom and amphia at different points at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of Gumushane University. The questionnaire was evaluated by applying it to 158 students. In addition, lighting and carbon dioxide measurements were taken in a certain part of the course. The noisy measurement was taken from both the classroom and the corridor to which the class is connected. Survey results were analyzed using SPSS 22 program. As a result, considering the measurement results and survey analysis results, it was determined that the regulations and standards did not provide the limit values. It was understood that the students are aware of the changing factors in the environment. As a result of the assessments (evaluations); lighting, noise and carbon dioxide are largely important on students's learning.
