Deep drawing is one of the most important forming methods of sheet metal used frequently in industry. Saucepans, beverage and perfume cans, tubes etc. products have been manufactured via deep drawing method. For this reason, a lot of research are being carried out for improve the deep drawing.The main subject of this research project is to examine deep drawing feature of equally thick single and multi layered metal sheets, by conducting methodological technics, which is conventionally used in manufacturing. In this regard, a quadratic deep drawing of single 2mm thick metal sheet is comparatively and experimentally investigated together with the multi layered compound aluminum Al 1050 that has been obtained from metal sheets in different thickness ( 0,3 mm, 0,4 mm, 0,5 mm, 0,6 mm, 0,7 mm, 0,8 mm, 1 mm)I have found out that experiments conducted on the single layered metal sheets -100 mm in breadth- resulted damage free, yet, those carried out on the multi layered metal sheets -with the same thickness and breadth- were in deed unsuccessful in that sense that these metalsheets were damaged. As a result I fixed the maximum limit of breadth of multi-layered materials so that they remain damage free. Furthermore, It was observed that the weight of the punch in the multi-layered experiments is much more bigger than it?s the case in the single layered ones."Keywords: Al 1050, layered metal sheets, Deep Drawing, Sheet Forming
