Abstract (EN)

In this study, Ayşe Kulin's works adapted to cinema and television are discussed. Considering the fact that cinema and literature are different arts, works and adaptations are approached in this framework. Adapted works were evaluated within the framework of film technique and framework. In the first part of the thesis which consists of three parts, "similarities and differences" of cinema and literary works and "literary works and cinema interaction" are emphasized. In the second chapter, the ideas and opinions of Ayşe Kulin about her life, her literary personality and her adaptations were discussed. In the third chapter, the works of Ayşe Kulin which were adapted as a feature film and a series of films were examined under the headings, theme, perspective, time, place, characters, language and style. In the conclusion section, the results obtained from the works examined were revealed.
