Impact of changes in Azerbaijan's political structure on economic structure

Azerbaijan is one of the countries that achieved its independence after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. This political change has brought about a number of changes in the economic activities in Azerbaijan. For this reason, various differences were observed in the economic geography of the country in the type, proportion, methods of execution and distribution of economic activities. It is seen that the economic activities carried out in Azerbaijan before and after the political change have different spatial usage patterns. The study began with an explanation of the natural geographical elements of the country, followed by an analysis of changes in the supply of both natural and human systems associated with the population and finally economic activities. In line with these changes, various charts and tables were created, which were studied and interpreted in depth; maps, figures and photographs were given a visual quality. Although we have the same language and religious origin, the lack of Turkish studies on the economic geography of Azerbaijan before and after its establishment has created the purpose of this study. In this direction, many archival books and documents written in Cyrillic alphabet of the Soviet Union period were analyzed and interpreted. In order to better analyze today's economic geography; geographical observation, field studies have been carried out in the country; meetings were held with people living in the country and one-on-one meetings were held with experts on the subject. Thus, on the basis of political and economic geography, the efficiency and development of economic activities in the country were examined and studied, it is also aimed to put forward proposals for future development.
