Abstract (EN)
Azerbaijan is one of the countries that gained its independence after the collapse of the USSR. The economy, which started to progress rapidly especially after the investment in oil reserves, recorded a significant recovery and growth. The futures market in the Azerbaijani market, which has an oil-dominated structure, has developed very little. The futures market, which existed from the Soviet period, fulfilled the demands of its time. According to some laws and regulations adopted after the independence, the futures market has been restructured and goverment support has been provided very strongly. However, for a long time, this market worked heavily on government bonds and became an institution meeting the needs of the government. The support programs offered by the government to increase the participants of the futures market and to create a model that complies with the world standards did not benefit from the expected economic crisis. Following the recovery of the economy in the aftermath of the crisis, a series of support programs for growth have been offered and started to be implemented. Another negative side of the futures market is that the market is far from world standards. In this study researched for the standards of the world's futures markets, researches make for the market which is implemented in Turkey and check the possibility for measure the applicability of the model of Turkey in Azerbaijan.
