Prof. Dr. Abdullah ŞENGÜLIn this study, it is attempted to show that the works which reflects the realartistic personality of Aziz Nesin are the stories among his poetry, novel, letter,memory, diary works in many kinds of literature. Therefore, a structural classificationof the author?s stories are made and themes complementary to the structure areanalyzed.Nesin considered actual topics and social disorganizations with a humorous styleand has an important place in Cumhuriyet period of Turkish history. We can accept himsuccessful and attained his goal by bringing reading as an easy and enjoyable pursuitand aiming to reach every cross-section of community.Aziz Nesin generally mount his stories by moving from deformity in social life,negative character and behaviours. Day life of the period is given to the reader withpeople of every category. Looking the events from the mirror of humour; satirizing themistakes and deficiency of people are the indicators of the author?s behaviour whichmakes people to think and amuse at the same time.Moving from the analyzed short stories; intimate, free expression, fluent style,and exciting attitude, it is possible to say that Aziz Nesin has an important place inTurkish Humour and Story.
