Özet (EN)
In this study, controlled release of water-soluble vitamin B12 has investigated by biocompatible polycaprolactone (PCL) and gelatin (Gel) materials via solutions prepared with acetic acid / formic acid (9: 1). For this purpose, PCL, PCL / Gel, PCL / Gel / B12, PCL / gelatin / gelatin nanoparticles (GelNP) / B12 nanofibers have prepared by electrospinning. N-Hydroxy succinimide (NHS) and N- (3-Dimethylaminopropyl) -N'-ethyl carbodiimide) (EDC) have cross-linked to reduce the water solubility of PCL / Gel and PCL / Gel / B12 nanofibers. Surface morphologies have been examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and nanofibers diameters have measured. Structural properties of the nanofibers have been obtained by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analyses. The crystallographies and the surface wettability of the nanofibers have been characterized by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), and the contact angle meter, respectively. The release of the drug substance from the nanofiber structures has been examined by UV-vis spectroscopy (UV-vis). It has been determined that the release of Vitamin B12 from nanofiber continues for 480 minutes. In order to reduce drug release, nanoparticles prepared with polycaprolactone were examined by adding vitamin B12 to the gelatin nanoparticles.
