Abstract (EN)

Baburname is the literary output of Gazi Zahîrüddîn Muhammed Bâbür (1483-1530) which is known as one of the first samples of memoir books of Turkish literature. It was written in late 15th and early 16th centuries Eastern Chagatay Turkic, Haydarabad -revealed by Henry Beveridge in Haydarabad -is a copy of Baburname which contains whole of the original text of Baburname except the lost parts. It has 382 pages and every page includes 14 lines. This study focuses on the transcription, syntax view and index-lexicon of Haydarabad copy. This study comprises of four sections named as respectively Introduction, Syntax View, Text and Index-Lexicon. The Introduction Section contains two main parts following the explanations on the contents of this thesis. The first part includes information about the political and military life of Babur and knowledge about his personality, his emotional structure, his family relations and his ideas on art. The second part generally mentions about his outputs, inluding the previous studies referred to them. The articles, encyclopedical knowledge, thesis, papers and books which are regarding with not only Baburname but also its derivations such as; copies, translations and facsimiles are also mentioned in this part. Morpho-syntactic analysis is used in Snytactic Structure section. The missions and functions of relations constructed of words to words, of subject to predicate, of word groups to word groups has expressed in the ligts of samples. Furthermore, this part is constituted under three main divisions which are respectively, collocations sentenced by noun inflectional suffixes; the syntax relations sentenced by verbal inflectional suffixes and the sentence. In the sentence division structure of sentence, the parts of sentence, subject-predicate agreement ant the types of sentence is analysed. The samples which are mentioned in the text are translated into Turkey Turkish in order to enlight the role and funtions of morphological factors when constructing word groups and sentence, and also in order to show their importance in the context. By this means, the importance of inflectional suffixes in construction of sentence and the functions of inflectional suffixes in the context is illuminated. Whereas the Haydarabad copy is transcripted the Text section, the Index of Baburname is made and the lexicon of vocabulary of Baburname is presented in the last section named as Lexicon-Index.
