Abstract (EN)
A lot of helmint spieces shows their effects on fresh water fish as growing in fish's different organs and tissues. Helminths on fresh water fish may dramatically harm the economy of the country. The aim of this study was to determine helmint spieces and their prevalance on Bafa Lake's fish. For that purpose, fish being metarrial of this study have been collected alive from bafa lake between October 2013 and Fabruary 2014. Different kind of fishing nets is used to catch fish. Fishes are examined macroscopically and then respectively, their skin, gill, gill cover, gill lamellas, eye lenses, intestine, heart, liver and muscle tissues are examined under microscop for helminth parasites. A total of 86 fish is investigated and, 4 helminth is recorded, Diplactanum aequans, Acanthostomum sp. and Helicometra sp., and Contracaecum sp. was found respectively, on pills, intestine and body cavity. At the and of the study, Acanthostomum sp. was found as dominant parasite species and the lowest infection rate of the four species was that of Contracaecum sp. of which only 1 was found on 1 fish.
