Abstract (EN)
Substance misuse has emerged as a growing social issue in recent years. It is also known that this issue has been the topic of various studies. The main objective of this study is to comprehend the difficulties encountered by mothers with substance-addicted children and to provide answers to these mothers through narrative therapy-based sharing and interaction-oriented psychoeducation group work. It began with 5 mothers and finished with 2 mothers. A 6-week narrative therapy-based psycho educational group study was undertaken in this study, which was constructed with a qualitative research approach and grounded theory design.In-depth interviews with psychologists, social workers, institution officials/managers who specialize in addiction, and a total of 20 people who care for those with addiction were conducted in order to better understand the structural, relational, and contextual issues that emerged as a result of the group work. Based on this model, it was shown why the "Super Mario Mom" who suffers from substance addiction left the process, how she could remain engaged in the process, and how she could open a window for herself.
