An analysis on the selected stories of Baha Tahir

Throughout history, Egypt has hosted important figures in science, literature and many fields. Even today, Egypt still has important Modern Arabic Literature. In this study, the storytelling side of Baha Tahir, who produced many works in the field of novel, theater and story, carried his works to the international arena and received awards in the fields of novel, story and theater, was tried to be brought to the fore. Baha Tahir sheds light on the events that his country has experienced in the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first century and put it in writing. He succeeded in making his voice heard in many international areas, especially with the narrative techniques he used, especially the themes he worked on in his works. In order to better understand the author Baha Tahir and his works, the life, scientific and literary personality of the author, and his works are included in the introduction part of the study. In the first part of the study, we tried to be informed in terms of language and style by dealing with the story's formation adventure, structure and elements. In the second and third part of his work, we tried to pay attention to the contributions of the author to Modern Arabic storytelling by examining the stories we selected from the author's five story books. Finally, by reaching some generalizations about the author's storytelling, we tried to give the main message that he wanted to give in his works in the conclusion section.
