Comparative vocabulary of Bahşayiş Lügati and Gagauz Turkish

Gagauz Turkish, which is in the category of endangered Turkic languages today, is among the Oghuz group Turkic dialects. The biggest reason for the extinction of this language is their migration to different geographies. Gagauz Turks, who had to live as a minority in different geographies for many years as a result of these migrations, although they are a minority in the regions where they live, they have always adhered to their language and religion. Bahşayış Lügati is a work written in Old Ouz Turkish. There are remarkable similarities between the vocabulary of the work and the vocabulary of today's Oghuz dialects. In our study, the vocabulary relationship between Bahşayiş Lügati, one of the most important and oldest works revealing the vocabulary of Old Oghuz, and Gagauz Turkish, one of today's Oghuz dialects, has been tried to be revealed.
