Nominal effect of Baki in the classical and modern Turkish poetry

16th Century poet Bâkî is one of poets who had a doctrine in Ottoman literature history. The maturation of his literary personality is due to his wisdom and deep culture besides his talent and effect of previous poets. He was honored as 'Sultanu'ş-Şuara' (The Sultan of poets) in his lived age for his literary talent and fame. By the way, he impressed last forty years of his century and was often mentioned, so had poem throne. Baki with his such crucial title has influenced many other poets from his age to today. Most of them called Baki as maestro of poetry and praised him in their poems. Tezkireciler (Biographers) who lived in the same age with Bâkî and knew almost all poets of the time very well agree on the opinion that he is the best. One of the best poets of Anatolian literary history Bâkî is assumed as the maestro of ode and gazel (lyric). He improved Turkish poetry, prepare suitable conditions for next generations and inspired them. Bâkî with his intelligence and strong literary personality perfected both in form and content. His influence continues over poets from his age till today. This study is a sign of his influence stay forever. Bâkî is assumed as a 'school' in this subject. In this stady the poems written about nominal context were determined and classified, and the meterial produced as a result of the classificatıon was supperted by short comments and divided into sections. This stady shows that Bâkî's influence not only on classical poetry but also on modern poets of our age contunues in different ways. The influence of Bâkî on classical and modern poets is investigated and evaluated in a nominal way by scanning either classical or modern poems in this study, Nominal effect of Bâkî in the Classical Turkish Theory.
