Abstract (EN)
Water is one of the most rapidly polluted natural resources in the world, and the seas also take their share from this rapid pollution. Pollutants discharged into the seas negatively affect the ecosystem and urgent measures are required to protect the marine ecosystem. As a result of the activities carried out in the Fishermen's Shelters in the production of fishery products, negative environmental and ecological effects have been ignored until now. Many fishing ports are also sources of significant environmental impacts on both the physical and biological coastal environment. In today's world where environmental awareness is increasing, fishermen's shelters should be planned and managed in harmony with coastal environments. As a result of fishing in fishermen's shelters in the Black Sea region, fish residues and oil create a big problem in coastal areas. In this study, alternative methods for the removal of fisheries residues formed as a result of activities in fishermen's shelters were examined. By following the fishermen's shelters in Samsun, samples were taken from the marine environment where the fishermen's shelters are located in Yakakent and Canik districts. The fact that the dissolved oxygen concentration of sea water drops to almost zero during the seasons when fishing activities are intense has shown how effective the ecological degradation is in that region. Dissolved oxygen, chemical oxygen demand, oil-grease, nitrogen and phosphorus analyzes were carried out in sea water. From the monitoring data, it has been determined that the sea in the fishermen's shelters is adversely affected by fish residues and oil. For this purpose, in this study, physical, chemical treatment and energy conversion alternatives were evaluated in the solution of the oil problem caused by fish residues.
