Abstract (EN)

When we mention about Küre, the copper mine cames to mind without dowot. It is known as "Küre-i Nühas" in Turkhish history and Küre-i Nühas means "copper quarny" in old Turkhish. Küre is a are which witnesses too many civilizatians from historic times to nowadays. Too many kinds of mine were found throughout history in the otoman period. Küre mines had the most importent potentid, especidly in the Fatih Sultan Mehmet period. In this period they were mined on a large scole and towns were ornemented with them. The copper mine wich was used when Fatih conquered İstanbul was brought from Küre. The production was intemupted sometimes in Küre, and this interruption was finished when minning began in XIX. Century. In this period, otoman empire decided to rent the wage rights of Küre mines. The producion of mine brought lats of advantage like being economic resource in army expense and to overeame socid supply. Transporting of mine seaway and land noute was monitared successfully as like minning process. The importance of minning in Küre was last because of bringing processed and cheap copper in Anatolia in nineteen century. In later centuries, minning sector last its potential because of inadequate capital and undeweloped technological facilities. Key words: Nühâs, Küre, Globe, copper, Kastamonu.
