Abstract (EN)
Mass communication provides communication between individuals and societies which aims gathering information with creating awareness, that is why it is a substantial actor in this study. Communication instruments and it's outputs which are still developing, accelerating and reaching the large masses simplify receiving information in today's technology. With this structure current issues, events and debates can brought to agenda and remain the continuity of the debates. Considering these characteristics of the communication instruments, the news related to women partaking in the press are examined on selected dates for this study. Social, eoconmic and cultural problems that women might have about gender perception and violence aganist women's concepts, definitions, contexts, metaphors are the main topics of this study. In every year 8th of March is celebrated as March 8 International Women's Day in the world. Naturally as everyone can see in 8th of March right after 9th of March messages and news can be viewed on media and press related to women. Today, detection of issues related to women which are come into prominence and showing continuity are crucial. Continuing studies' results can be understandable when taking a look of their year-to-date. Acquired informations can lead to the new studies which will be planned and realized. In order to make a content analysis for qualitative research method, which is chosen as the study's method, Nvivo Program is used. Findings were searched within the content as words, terms and sentences which are determinated as the categories were utilized in conceptual framework. The findings that acquired after the study matched with the presented context's knowledge in conceptual framework. Contents of the news and the given messages show parallelism with the concepts of gender perception and gender roles, the topics of employment issues and violence towards women within conceptual framework.
