Abstract (EN)

In this research, simple maqams and simple methods in Turkish music theory will be used, and it is aimed to provide the scales of the maqams, the ease of performing the frets in the maqam, the violin bow techniques, and the ease of performing in the method changes for the beginner level violin education by preparing studies for performance in Turkish music violin education. The universe of the research consists of maqams in Turkish music. The sample of the research is consists from Uşşak, Bayati, Neva and Muhayyer maqams. The reason why the sample was chosen as Uşşak, Bayati, Neva and Muhayyer is that the beginner level students of Turkish Music violin department have difficulties while learning and performing these maqams. These maqams are also used in the formation of many combined maqams by coming together with other maqams. Therefore, learning these maqam series as a priority will make it easier to learn other combined maqams with these maqams. In this study, the researcher himself is the primary data collection and analysis tool. The basic unit of analysis is the learners themselves. In case studies, data were collected through studies such as video audio recording, researcher diary and questionnaire, without relying on a single method for data collection or data analysis. Studies were prepared for the problems of the research related to the results obtained and a training study model was prepared in the beginner level Turkish music violin education for the difficulties in maqam performance.
