Abstract (EN)

It is known that humankind is always keen on to produce moving images at every period of the history. Real moving images couldn?t be obtained until 19th century. After the definition of sight features in 1824, the first moving images were able to be produced by optical toys with using hand drawings. In 1892, Emile Reynaud, performed the first movie show by using hand drawings with the optical theater device which is his own design. But, Lumière Brothers? the first show with cinematographer device in 1895 is accepted as the beginning of Cinema Universal. Moving drawings made by hand (animations) were not taken into account against Lumière Brothers? real images. The animation, which has limited opportunities to be shown at the end of the real movies at the beginning periods of the cinema movies, has developed its own expression methods and visual aspects in the following years. In 1927, with moving to a sound film era, the animation has turned the sound problems in the cinema movies to its own favor, gained distinction and with the start of long animation movies, the animation started to be watched like real movies in real cinema theatres. In 1990?s, with the increase with technological opportunities, the animation succeeded to create fantastic images that cannot be obtained with the real movies. By the year 2000, it is quite clear that the animation is an integral part of the cinema due to creating incredible surreal visuals.
