Abstract (EN)

In our master's thesis, "Housing Hellenistic Period Housing Architecture in Western Anatolia Region" been has been investigated and examined in terms of architectural plan. First of all, we created our research in three different sections. First, we discussed the formation stages of the houses. In the following stages, we talked about the first grid plan structure and the developing grid plan structure. Then we studied the Hellenistic Period and gradually began to transition to residential architecture. We examined the cities established in this region one by one and supported our research with plates. Finally, we have dealt with the material structures that constitute the most important phenomenon in the formation of a city. As a result, we have observed the architectural stages of the Western Anatolia Region. This study reveals how people choose their housing stages from site selection to materials.
