Özet (EN)

The emergence of racist thought as a result of the discovery of different human communities and cultures along with geographical discoveries was made possible by the efforts of Western European thinkers to draw a scientific framework for the concept. Beyond meeting individual needs, the transition to surplus production have bring about the change and development the meaning and diversity of the concept of market, as concept of the consumption changes in size and changes its qualities. Scientific theories of racism developed as a result of the researches carried out to ensure the legitimacy of slavery order in the eyes of the Western European public, have succeeded in removing the obstacles in front of great economic returns. Although the concepts of racism and xenophobia, whose effective roles in the markets are proven by the historical experiences, are eliminated by policies in line with today's human rights ideal, they have gained a socially settled position. However, the current sociological structure also allows the use of concepts in the market economy and populist politics in general. In this study, mechanism of combating racism and xenophobia in Western European Countries will be tried to be explained.
