Examination of professional burnout and job satisfaction status of officers working in Batman Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate and trainers working in the field (Batman provincial example)

The aim of this research is to examine the burnout and job satisfaction levels between the officers working in Batman Youth Provincial Sports Directorate and the trainers who train athletes in the field. Relational survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. Ethics committee approval and official research permission document were obtained from Batman Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports in order to carry out the research. While the universe of the study consists of 482 personnel working in Batman Youth Provincial Sports Directorate, the sample consists of 219 participants. "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" and "Maslach Burnout Scale" questionnaires were applied face to face with the participants. SPSS (22) program was used in data analysis in the research. In order to decide the normality of the distribution, the Shapiro-Wilk test and the kurtosis and skewness values were used. The significance level of 0.05 was used as a criterion in interpreting whether the obtained values were significant or not. As a result of our study; Between the officers working in Batman Youth Provincial Sports Directorate and the trainers training athletes on the field; No significant difference was found between the sub-dimensions of the "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" and "Maslach Burnout Scale" by gender, marital status and length of service. However, between the officers working in the Batman Youth Provincial Sports Directorate and the trainers training athletes on the field; Significance was determined with the sub-dimensions of the "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" and "Maslach Burnout Scale" according to the variables of age, education, income status and in-service training.
