Özet (EN)

The eating habit, which is the most important part of human life and which is constantly changing, has recently started to be affected by the media a lot, and the relationship between media and nutrition has become an area that needs to be examined In this study, it is aimed to determine whether the media tools that accompany us in all areas of our lives and are a part of technology have an effect on the food consumption habits of university students in the young age group. As the sample of the study and the place where it will be done; A total of 376 students from 16 different departments studying at associate, undergraduate and graduate levels at Bayburt University were selected. A questionnaire was applied to these students, both online and face-to-face. The answers given by the students to the questionnaire scales were translated into statistical results using the SPSS-20 program, and T-test, anova test, multiple comparison test were applied to the data obtained from the questionnaire. When the results were evaluated, it was determined that the students who participated in the survey were affected by the media and advertisements to a certain extent in food consumption. When this influence is examined, it has been determined that the rate of students being affected by new media tools is higher than the rate of being affected by traditional media elements. These results are presented in tables in the study.
