Investigation of the nutritional value of some endemi̇c plants

In this study, the levels of fatty acids and metals of some endemic plants obtained from Adiyaman Nemrut Mountain Zone were identified. For this purpose, 5 kinds of endemic plant and 5 rare plant taxa samples were collected. These plants are Allium nemrutdaghense Kit Tan et Sorger, Cyclotrichium nivenum (Boiss.) Manden. Et Scheng, Rindera lanata (Lam.) Bunge var. canescens (A.DC.) Kusn., Nonea stenosolen Boiss. et Bal., Asperugo procumbens L., Fritillaria pinardii Boiss., Allium orientale Boiss., Hyacinthus orientalis L. subsp. chionophilus Wendelbo, Tulipa aleppensis Boiss ex Regel var. aleppica Baker and Isatis aucheri Boiss.. The leaves, bulbs and seeds of these plants division were studied. Ni, Pb, Zn, Cu, Ba, Al, Cu, Fe, Mn, K and Na metal levels were examined. Also, approximately 37 levels in fatty acids of individual fatty acids were detected. ΣUSFA, ΣSFA, ΣPUFA and ΣMUFA values of these plants were identified. Important metal and fatty acid components in endemic plants were identified by our test results. We believe that our results will shed light on future biochemical studies.
