Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out between 2021-2023 and the efficacy of 10 entomopathogenic fungal isolates selected from the entomopathogenic fungal culture collection in the Mycology Laboratory of the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University against theTurkistanCockroach [Blatta lateralis (Walker, 1868) (Orthoptera: Blattidae)] was investigated. In order to determine the efficacy of entomopathogenic fungi isolates against Turkish Cockroach, a single dose experiment was carried out at a concentration of 1x108conidiospores ml-1.According to the single dose trial data, 3 isolates (ORP16, ORP18, Sivas-10) showing high ereffect were selected and dose-death trials were established with the seisolates by two different methods (surface and food application) using 1x107, 1x108 and 1x109 conidiospores ml-1 doses. The efficacy of th eentomopathogenic fungi used varied depending on the application methods, th especies of entomopathogenic fungus and the isolate. Th efindings of the study showed that the effectiveness of the isolates used against B. lateralis was low. When the data were evaluated in general, the effectiveness of the surface application was found to be higher than the other applications. There was almost no effect in the application to the food. In this study, some basic data for the microbial control of B. lateralis were obtained and added to the literature.
