Abstract (EN)

Ferrocene is a sandwich type compound. Its structure contains an iron atom between two pentadienyl- group. It is an aromatic organic compound and has aromatic stability. Ferrocene and its derivatives are used as redox sensor as well as they used for medicinal industry and for preparation of optical materials. Ferrocene derivatives has been used as a catalyst in some organic chemistry reactions. In this study, microwave assisted sythesis of some ferrocenoyl amids 2?3, and conventional synthesis of some ferrocenoyl esters 4 have been carried out. The structure of prepared compounds were investigated using spectroscopic techniques. In the first part of this study, starting material Benzotriazolyl acyl ferrocene, 1 was prepared and characterized. This compound is a novel compound in literature for the functionalization of ferrocene. For the preparation of this starting material benzotriazole chemistry was used. In second part, starting material was reacted with different type of amines and alcohols to obtain ferrocenoyl amides and ferrocenoyl esters. The structures were investigated.
